Visual Arts Program

The Visual Arts program teaches an interdisciplinary, standards-based, sequentially integrated visual arts curriculum for K-12 grades in schools and home-school students.

The curriculum is taught once per week in the classroom and meets the State of California and State of Nevada visual arts content standards as well as integrates science, math, social studies and socio-emotional development curriculum (see arts integration page for more information). The course is taught by professional artists and credential art teachers. The Visual Arts program curriculum also allows alternative high school students to fulfil the state standard art requirement for graduation.
